Our Mission Statement

We believe in the one true God is the creator and Lord of the universe, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, John 1:3, Matthew 28:19, John 1:1, John 10:30, Matthew 3:16-17)

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and sufficient Word of God: the supreme and final authority in all matters of belief and conduct. (Matthew 5:18, John 17:17, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:19-21, Revelation 22:18-19, Psalm 33:4, Psalm 119:105)

We believe Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died an atoning death on the Cross, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return in power and glory. (Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 9:6-7, Matthew 1:18-25, Mark 14:61-62, Luke 3:22, John 1:3, 1 Peter 2:22, 1 Peter 2:24, Matthew 28:5-6, Acts 1:6-11, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Philippians 2:5-11, Colossians 2:9, 1 John 5:20, Revelation 1:7)

We believe all people are lost sinners, and the consequence of sin is death. Only through repentance of sin and faith toward God can one be saved and receive eternal life. Justification is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. (Romans 3:23-26, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5, 1 John 5:11-13, John 3:16, John 5:24, John 14:6)

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is progressively sanctified and finally glorified. (John 14:16-17, Romans 8:9, 2 Thessalonians 2:13, Galatians 5:16-18, 1 Corinthians 6:11)

We believe Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, which is His body and is made up of all those who are joined to Him through saving faith. The church is a spiritual unity of believers who have made a covenant together to gather regularly for the preaching of God’s Word, worship and prayer, mutual edification, fellowship, and participation in the ordinances (baptism and the Lord’s Supper). The church seeks to glorify God by fulfilling His mandate of proclaiming the gospel and making disciples throughout the world. (Colossians 1:18, Acts 2:41-47, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Hebrews 10:25, Matthew 5:13-16)

We believe Jesus Christ will personally and visibly return in glory to raise the dead and bring salvation and judgment to completion. God will fully manifest His kingdom when He establishes a new heaven and new earth, in which He will be glorified forever and will exclude all evil, suffering, and death. (John 14:2-3, Romans 14:10-12, 1 Corinthians 15:51-54, 2 Corinthians 5:10, 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, Revelation 20:11-15)
